So, here's the deal with Chris – the guy behind the magic. He didn't just stumble into this; he's been all about Falcon GTs since he was knee-high. Picture this: six-year-old Chris at his first GT Nationals in '97, and bam, he's hooked for life.

Fast forward a bit, and at 16, he kicks off his mechanical apprenticeship at Lance Dixon Range Rover. Two months in, he hits up some famous GT restoration spots in Melbourne, bumps into GT guru Neil Thompson, and lands a gig on the spot. That was the kickstart he needed, working on the cars he's been crazy about since forever.

After getting all qualified and stuff, Chris goes big and opens his own specialist joint in 2013 – Falcon GT Restorations. While holding down a full-time gig at GT specialist shops, he's also hustling on restorations in his free time. One standout project was the Surfer Orange XW GTHO Phase II – a rare gem that Chris saw as his ticket to making a name for himself. And you know what? He nailed it.
